This axe was made from foamcore, pvc, leather, foil tape, string, and some paint

Skulls!

I wanted to make a normal nicely sculpted skull. They are harder to find that I would have thought

I wanted to do a paint job like some of the photos you see in National Geographic

A new skull mask I'm currently working on. The plan is to paint the cracks with a bright orange or yellow and maybe black on the surface, like cracked lava or rock.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking it out. I'm a artist that predominantly works in the film industry in the fx makeup side of things.
